| We employ two different types of shipping, UPS and freight. UPS is used on smaller items and generally costs less for small orders. Freight shipping is used on large items and/or large orders. Typically, the larger the order, the smaller the freight price will be relative to the order price. Regardless of whether the order is sent via UPS or freight, items usually arrive within a week or so of being shipped from the manufacturer.
The majority of items ship via UPS and are sent out every Thursday.
Orders received by Tuesday night will be included in that Thursday's shipment
provided that the items are in stock.
Orders received early on Wednesday can usually also be included in the Thursday
shipment.
Orders received after the manufacturer has stopped taking items for that week's
shipment will be pushed to the next week.
The larger items ship via freight.
If any item in an order needs to be shipped freight,
the entire order will be shipped via freight.
Unlike UPS, freight shipments are sent out on a daily basis,
and an order will usually be filled within a couple of days.
We ship from Rhode Island, so UPS can deliver items in as little as a day or two
to the North-East corridor.
